“Building
the future for Native Americans through Christian education”
|
Oasis
Christian Center offers every elementary-aged child living
on the Uintah/Ouray Indian Reservation the opportunity to
succeed in this life – through a quality Christian
education program. Oasis Christian Center also gives each
child the choice to know the Creator and to grow in a
personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
|
The LORD has called us to give this opportunity to
every Native child living on a federally recognized
Indian reservation.
Oasis Christian Center is our first step of faith
towards fulfilling what God has asked of us. We began
classes for grades 1-6 on the Uintah/Ouray Indian
Reservation on September 11, 2003.
The LORD has truly been with us every step of the way!
One of the most effective ways to share the Good News
and establish the Word of God upon reservations is
through Christian education. |
 |
 |
Most Native families are opposed to their loved ones
attending church, since it is seen as “the White Man's
religion.” But, when they see the chance for their
children to receive a quality education, they see
Christianity in a different way. We ask every
Christian church and each believer to prayerfully
consider supporting this effort to reach the First
Nations of North America.
